Labor and Concentration camps are alike and different. The way that the camps are alike is they made the people within them no freedom. Another way they are alike is the Camps Where controlled by the nazis and Hitler. The camps also shared the similarity that most people within them where jews, gays, poor and mental people. The way they are different is labor camps where Used for making objects with no pay Concentration camps Was just for killing not working. These are some similarities and some differences.

The Nazis mostly forced labor on the Jews. The Nazis took advantage of the forced labor of enemies of the state for economic gain. Many, many people died because they were executed or badly mistreated by the Germans. Germans arrested those who resisted domination and those they judged to be racially inferior or politically unacceptable , especially the Jews. there were a lot of differences between labor camps and killing camps. one reason was that , in labor camps jews didn't get killed as much as they did in killing camps because killing camps were made for killing jews . labor camps were made to put jews to work against their will.

At the forced labor camps, the Nazi's singled out Jewish laborers with cruel and humiliating treatment. They also forced to submit to anything the Nazi's wanted them to do. The Jews always seemed so unproductive by the Nazi's so they were the first to get shot. Being able to work could save your life. Killing the Jews was the Nazi's first priority. At the killing camps, men were separated from woman and children. A Nazi physician, looked at them and decided if they were healthy and strong enough for forced labor. If they picked you to die, you were lead to gas chambers. To prevent panic, the soldiers told them they were being taken to showers to get rid of lice. In some killing camps, carbon monoxide was released into the chamber. In others, the soldiers threw down rat poison. The other prisoners were forced to move the corpses. The bodies were cremated. Many people profited from this.

Concentration camps and Killing camps were similiar in the way that they were both used to imprison groups that the Nazi party disliked but killing camps were used for just that to humiliate and kill the prisoners. While concentration camps were used to simply imprison and keep these disliked groups out of the way. In concentration camps many of the prisoners died of starvation or disease, but the purpose of them were not to kill the prisoners inside.

Forced labor camps were to help the economy. They forced Jewish people to work. After the defeat in 1942-1943 in the battle of Stalingrad, the use of prisoners as forced labor increased. In concentration camps were just for killing not labor. They were both controlled by Hitler. One more reason there alike is the people in the camps were of the same background or race.

Forced labor camps were where the nazis singled out jewish laborers for cruel treatment. The ghettos served as bases for utilizing jewish labor as did force labor camps for jews in occupied Poland. In the ghettos the nazis opened factories. The ability to work could save one's life but most often temporarily. The extermination of jews became the singularity priority of the nazis. The nazis exploited the forced labor of "enemies of the state" for economic gain. Labor shortages in the German war became economy critical.

The purpose of the Forced Labor Camps, which were established throughout Poland, was for cruel treatment towards the Jews. They were drafted to clear war damage and repair roads. Jewish women and Jewish children aged 12-14 were also required to perform forced labor. Prisoners in concentration camps were worked to death.

Nazi Camp System was against the political opponents of the Nazi state. People were sent to camps; if they resisted their domination, and judged to be politically unacceptable. The Nazi’s had a labor shortage; which led to more labor prisoners. Hundreds of camps were set up near industrial plants. Jews were forced labor to clear up the damage from war. The difference between labor camps and concentration camps were that in concentration camps, the prisoners were literally worked to death, or killed. In Labor camps, prisoners got cruel and humiliating treatment. The SS men were forced to have their beards cut. They are similar because they both have the same purpose, which means they were beyond imprisonment toward forced labor and murder. People are all sent there for a similar reason. After all of the camps; the solutions was to be gasses, shootings, random acts of terror, disease and starvations. That killed almost 6 million Jews.

The camps also shared the people that were held were jews, gays and mental people. A way they are different is labor camps where Used for making stuff for the germans. and had no pay and were worked till death. Or was worked till the couldn't no more and got killed by nazi's. and at concentration camps they just killed them for being different.

The purpose of the labor camps was for the Jews to work as slaves to the Nazis bidding. Most labor camps only used Jews that had the ability to work, but even those Jews were normally shot or killed eventually. Because of some of the economic loses in German battles, more workers were needed. Labor camps and killing camps were mostly the same. The only difference was that the Jews put in labor camps were not killed immediately and were used as an asset to the German Nazis. Most Jews were killed in either type of camp eventually anyway.
